Samantha and Robert | Snowy Boulder Engagement Session
The day after a snow storm, I got to capture this beautiful couple in the most appropriate Colorado winter conditions! Sam and Robert were such a sweet and fun couple and I am so excited to share their engagement session with you! These cuties met over 5 years ago while working together at a vet clinic in Miami, Florida. Sam and Robert started out as friends but soon started to fall for each other. Fast forward to now and they have moved cross country to start a new adventure in Fort Collins, Colorado. Robert started vet school at Colorado State University this past fall and Sam is working at the university. They have definitely embraced moving to the mountains and enjoy taking their two ADORABLE goldendoodles (my fav kind of dog), Kosmo and Koda, on all sorts of adventures! Sam and Robert are getting married in the mountains of Colombia at a destination wedding next spring! (I’m so jealous…) They are inviting friends and family to come celebrate and party with them, and from the sounds of it, it is going to be an awesome party!
These two were so easy to hang out with and they just had such a great time together. You can totally tell how in love they are. As the session went on, the sun dipped behind the mountains and it started to get pretty cold. Robert was just so sweet to Sam, helping to wipe her nose when she sniffled and staying close to keep her warm. Just look at the way he looks at her! Sam told me that her favorite thing about Robert is his personality and Robert’s favorite thing about her is her smile (it’s gorgeous, I agree!). I love how natural their love is and how it was so easy to capture. Although they aren’t getting married until next year, they told me that they cannot wait to have their first dance and are looking forward to making memories together in Colombia! I’m so excited for them and for what adventure marriage has in store for them!
