Sarah and Jeff | Beautiful Spring Portrait Session in Golden, Colorado

Spring has made it to Colorado (FINALLY)! Ever since moving from the east coast, it is still surprising how long it takes for spring to finally show up in the mountains. I have been calling my parents back in Virginia and they have had full leaves on trees since March! Anyways, I am so happy that it is warming up and the cherry blossoms are blooming here in Denver! Springtime also marks the beginning of wedding season and everything is starting to kick off! I am booked out with second shooting and personal weddings this summer and it is going to be BUSY. But if you know me, I thrive in my chaotic schedule. Well, maybe not thrive but I absolutely can’t stand NOT having something to do so therefore I am booked this entire summer (wish me luck)! Stayed tuned for lots of gorgeous weddings and engagements this summer!

A couple weeks ago, we got down to Clear Creek in Golden for a springtime photoshoot with some great friends. I met Sarah while working one of my first dietitian jobs in Denver a little over a year ago. We became fast friends with our love of nutrition, helping people, and for an early morning ski day! Sarah and Jeff are originally from Minnesota so Trevor and I quickly bonded with them over our midwestern roots (Trev and I went to Ohio State and Trev grew up in Ohio). These two are some of the sweetest and most easy going people I’ve ever met. And it was SO easy to capture their love for each other on camera! After our shoot, we grabbed a beer at Golden City Brewery and caught up on life. We are so lucky to have made such fast friends with these two and I know we have plenty more Colorado adventures to come!
